MANILA, Philippines — The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Manila has announced the commencement of the second batch of its 2026 Passport Intervention Exercise for Nigerians residing in the Philippines.

According to a public notice shared on the embassy’s official Facebook page, the application exercise opened on August 3 and will close on September 17, 2026.

The embassy stated that applicants who have obtained their National Identification Number, or NIN, can submit their applications and supporting documents at its office on Paraiso Street, Dasmariñas Village, Makati City.

Under the announced fee structure, a 32-page passport booklet valid for five years will cost $330, while a 64-page booklet valid for 10 years will cost $410. The charges cover the passport, online application, physical biometric capture and other applicable administrative fees.

Applicants are required to present their documents for verification before making payment. After confirmation, the embassy will facilitate the online passport application and inform applicants of their scheduled biometric-capturing dates and subsequent passport issuance.

The mandatory documents include a NIN, birth certificate, recent International Civil Aviation Organisation-standard passport photograph and the data page of the applicant’s current passport.
