Meta Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg has announced the release of Muse Spark 1.1, a new artificial intelligence model designed for coding, tool use and agentic performance.
Zuckerberg said the model is being made available through the new Meta Model API and Meta AI, describing it as a strong agentic and coding model offered at a low price.

According to Zuckerberg in a post on X, Muse Spark 1.1 is built to perform well on long-running tasks and supports a one-million-token context window. He said the model can also delegate execution to sub-agents running in parallel.
The Meta CEO added that Muse Spark 1.1 has been trained to use computer interfaces across desktop, mobile and browser environments, making it suitable for tasks that require interaction with digital tools and platforms.
The newly introduced Meta Model API will allow developers to build with Muse Spark for the first time, marking a fresh push by Meta into the competitive AI developer tools market.
Zuckerberg said Meta’s focus is to deliver strong agentic and multimodal models at very low cost, adding that more developments are expected soon.
The release places Meta in closer competition with other major technology companies developing advanced AI models for coding, automation, software development and multimodal applications.
